Associates Choose Non-profit organizations to Benefit from Staples
Foundation Grants
AMSTERDAM--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 20, 2012--
Staples, the world’s largest office products company and second largest
internet retailer, today announced the charity recipients of 38 grants
funded by the Staples Foundation, the private charitable arm of the
company. The grants are part of a new philanthropic initiative created
by Staples Foundation which allows Staples associates around the world
to direct funding to non-profit organizations.
Across Europe alone, 13 charities will receive grants funded by the
Staples Foundation totaling $252,500. The program generated more than
2600 votes from Staples associates across European countries.

The new program, called 2 Million & Change, is just one example of

funds to organizations around the world, reaching more than $2 million
in grants for the year.
