In addition, Staples Copy & Print Centers (with full service at all Staples locations) will provide these free copies of tax returns one week earlier, starting on March 27, 2010, and continuing through tax-filing day on April 15, 2010.

"We know the tax filing season can be stressful, and we're here to make it easy for customers to lessen the time and energy it takes to prepare, file and save all of the necessary documents," said John Burke, senior vice president of business services at Staples. "Staples makes tax time easy by providing great customer service at our convenient retail locations, easy navigation on Staples.com, and several opportunities to save with deals on products, services and free copies of tax returns."

Staples is increasing the amount of free copies this year to accommodate those taxpayers requiring additional forms to take advantage of new tax credits, including the first time homebuyers incentive and benefits from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
