ADP Brings Leading Payroll Services to Staples' Small Business Customers Nationwide

Unique Alliance Provides Personalized Service via Staples Bricks and Clicks to Help Customers Manage Time-Consuming Payroll Processing and Tax Filing Tasks

ROSELAND, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 3, 2001-- Automatic Data Processing, Inc. ADP's Emerging Business Services (EBS) division launched the program today, offering personal consultation from ADP sales specialists at Staples' retail stores and online to's more than one million registered customers.

As part of the agreement, ADP sales specialists will provide in-store consultation to Staples' small business customers-- providing personalized service in a convenient local setting. Sales specialists are currently available in 88 stores in California and Arizona, and will be available in Staples 970 retail stores nationwide by the end of June.
