Select vendors are chosen at the request of schools participating in eSchoolMall's program.
eSchoolMall is currently the only single-source for online procurement for K-12 schools. Through its website, schools are able to search for the products they need, and complete each stage of the procurement process electronically--from bidding, quoting, and teacher requisitioning, to fund encumbrance, liquidation, purchase order processing, and payment. The service allows schools to reduce errors plus save time and money, while providing an end-to-end paper trail for the most accurate fiscal accountability.
Labor-intensive procurement processes currently cost schools more than $75 per purchase order in both time and resources. eSchoolMall reduces transaction costs to only about $5 each by streamlining the ordering process, saving schools thousands of dollars annually. This arrangement also allows schools to reduce paperwork, free up staff time, and proactively control ordering processes.
Each participating school pays a licensing fee and signs a User Agreement to become a member of the eSchoolMall program. Because every school procurement process is unique, eSchoolMall is tailored to individual needs and is integrated into a school's accounting software.
