News Release Names Anne-Marie Keane to Head Business-to-Business E-commerce

In her new position, Keane will lead the strategy, development and implementation of customized business-to-business e-commerce solutions for medium-to-large-sized contract business customers. In addition, she will manage the introduction of, the company's new e-commerce site that will replace Staples Network Advantage Plus (SNAP) this month.

Keane joined Staples in 1992 and has held a variety of positions within the company's marketing, merchandising and strategy organizations. Most recently, she created the Contract and Commercial Division's marketing organization to support the company's sales force. Prior to joining Staples, Keane was a consultant at Monitor Company in Cambridge, Mass., where she assisted Fortune 500 companies in creating winning retail and marketing strategies. Keane holds a M.B.A from Harvard University and a B.A. from Dartmouth College. A former resident of Palos Verdes, Calif., she currently resides in Weston, Mass., with her husband and two children.
