Donald Trump, Kobe Bryant, Jennifer Garner Join 140-plus Celebrities Contributing to 'Staplers of the Stars' Online Charity Auction

Bidding, bargains and big shots are all part of the Staplers of the Stars online charity auction at, and now 20 new celebrity-signed staplers have been added to the star-studded lineup that runs through December 6. Donald Trump, basketball star Kobe Bryant and actress Jennifer Garner are among the new donators who join more than 140 celebrities contributing to the Staplers of the Stars charity auction.

The auction offers a chance to buy a one-of-a-kind keepsake or holiday gift with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting more than 50 charities including the National Kidney Foundation, Mercy Home for Boys & Girls and Staples Foundation for Learning.

Other new contributors include: Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York; the Dixie Chicks and JoAnna Garcia; pop star Cyndi Lauper; talk show music director Paul Shaffer; hockey stars Bobby Orr and Mario Lemieux; basketball coaches Phil Jackson and Rudy Tomjanovich; model Brooke Burke; golf legend Jack Nicklaus; gold medal swimmer Michael Phelps; business icon Steve Forbes; athletic wear giant Paul Fireman; Los Angeles sports managers Mitch Kupchak and Jeanie Buss; Trump advisers George Ross and Carolyn Kepcher; and the cast of the hit Broadway show Bombay Dreams.

Two days after the auction opened, bidding for staplers signed by Tiger Woods and Ringo Starr hit $500 each. Jennifer Love Hewitt, a self-proclaimed office supply fanatic and star of this season's "A Christmas Carol" and "Garfield," kicked off the event last week at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. Bidding on her stapler reached $300 within 24 hours of posting. Other hot staplers include those signed by Paris Hilton, Bill Gates and Rudy Giuliani.
